The teres minor muscle is a narrow and slender rotator cuff muscle that stretches between the lateral margin of the scapula and the greater tubercle of the humerus. It is found on the posterior aspect of the scapula and is covered by the deltoid muscle. It is positioned superior to the teres major muscle. The teres minor is sometimes fused with the infraspinatus muscle.
