Medial muscles of hand (muscles of little finger; part 1)

The medial muscles of the hand are a group of three intrinsic hand muscles located along the ulnar side of the palm at the base of the little finger. These muscles form the hypothenar eminence, which is the soft, rounded prominence that allows precise control of the little finger. That is why they are also known as the hypothenar muscles. These muscles are similar to the thenar muscles in both name and organisation. They play a key role in fine motor tasks, grip strength, and overall hand dexterity.
