The flexor carpi radialis is a long, fusiform-shaped superficial muscle of the forearm located in its anterior compartment. It is found on the medial aspect of the forearm, lying medial to the pronator teres and lateral to the palmaris longus muscle. Deep to it lies the flexor digitorum superficialis muscle.
