The zygomaticoorbital foramen is a small opening that is found in the middle of the orbital surface of the zygomatic bone close to the infraorbital margin. It is a āgatewayā to the bony canals that are found within the zygomatic bone. This opening transmits the zygomaticofacial nerve and zygomaticotemporal nerve that leave the canals through the same named openings.
