Nasal bone

The nasal bone is a small and thin paired bone of the viscerocranium that forms the nasal bridge and the anterior wall of the nasal cavity. The nasal bones lie next to each other on either side of the midline below the glabella and between the frontal processes of the maxillae. Overall, the average length of the nasal bone is up to 0.98 inches (2.5 cm), and each nasal bone articulates with the frontal bone, ethmoid, maxilla, and the opposite nasal bone.
