This month wasn’t an exception - we worked hard to make your learning journey smoother, smarter, and a bit more exciting.
This month, we’ve rolled out a bunch of new updates across the app - from revised 3D models and brand-new videos to refreshed quizzes and a brand-new Aesthetics filter in the Media Library. There’s something fresh for everyone. Interested in thoracic anatomy? No worries, we’ve got you covered! Curious about facial structures for aesthetics? Just head to our Media Library!
So grab a coffee (or an iced one!), take a deep breath, and scroll through what’s new! Let’s make this exam season your most confident one yet.
1. 3D Anatomy: Revised 3D Models
In April, we revised and updated a ton of 3D models featured in our 3D Anatomy section. These updates are part of our ongoing effort to enhance anatomical accuracy, visual clarity, and educational value across our app. All the revised models have been brought up to their latest versions and are now available in two places. You can access them directly within the 3D Anatomy section of each updated article or in the Media Library using filters and filtering out 3D models.
The articles that received updated 3D content include Muscles of mastication, Thorax, Superior mediastinum, Inferior mediastinum, and External anatomy of the heart. Among these, the Superior mediastinum and Inferior mediastinum articles were fully updated - every 3D model was revised and replaced with the latest version. The other articles listed received partial updates, meaning only selected 3D models were revised.
If you have already studied the mentioned articles, we encourage you to revisit them and explore the refreshed models, whether through the 3D Anatomy section or via the Media Library.

2. Media Library: New Aesthetics Filter
We’re excited to share that we’ve also added a brand-new Aesthetics filter to our Media Library, expanding it with a colorful and realistic collection of new visual materials. These freshly added visuals make it easier than ever to find high-quality, relevant anatomical materials for plastic surgeons, injectors, and other professionals working in the aesthetics field. If you are a person representing the field, you probably know how hard it is to find accurate and at the same visually appealing materials. But not anymore!

While this section is still evolving and we’re just getting started, you’ll already find some engaging visuals on facial muscles and facial expressions and facial fat pads in both 2D illustrations and 3D models. Our detailed illustrations of facial muscles and facial expressions are ideal for understanding dynamic anatomy during facial movements. Also, our freshly added materials featuring facial fat pads are essential for planning and performing aesthetic procedures, and they offer a deeper spatial understanding of fat compartments and their relationship with surrounding structures.

This is just the beginning as we plan to gradually expand this collection to include more content focused on injectables, surface landmarks, and other key areas relevant to aesthetic interventions to better support aesthetic-focused learning and practice. Whether you’re looking to learn something new, refresh your anatomical knowledge, educate your patients, or enhance training materials, this fresh filter is here to support you!

3. Media Library: New Videos
Our Media Library just got even better. Alongside the introduction of a new filter, our Media Library also received several new educational videos. This time, the focus was on the ligaments of the spine and the primary muscles of mastication. Whether you’re reviewing for an exam, preparing a lecture, or simply exploring anatomy out of curiosity, these fresh additions bring more depth and clarity to the mentioned topics.
You can now find a video on the ligaments of the craniocervical junction, which is a crucial area where stability meets mobility. This video highlights several ligaments that secure the skull to the cervical spine, including the alar ligaments, apical ligament of dens, cruciate (cruciform) ligament of atlas, and the tectorial membrane.
We’ve also added another video on ligaments, specifically spinal ligaments. This new video reviews such ligaments as the anterior longitudinal ligament, ligamenta flava, supraspinous ligament, interspinous ligaments, intertransverse ligaments, and nuchal ligament, offering a comprehensive look at the structures that maintain vertebral alignment and absorb mechanical stress during motion.
And finally, our latest addition offers an overview of the primary muscles of mastication, showcasing the temporalis, masseter, and medial and lateral pterygoids up close and personal. This video is beneficial not only for those studying medicine but also for those representing the dental field.

4. Quizzes: New Quiz and Redesigned Quiz Category
Have you ever wondered how well you know the joints of the spine? Well, now you can find that out. Our latest quiz takes you through this complex topic with four difficulty levels to match your learning goals. Whether you’re just starting or looking for a serious challenge, there’s something for everyone.

The base level of our latest added quiz contains 20 questions, and it tests foundational anatomical knowledge. The intermediate level features 34 questions and focuses on deeper anatomical details. The advanced level has 28 questions to push the understanding even further. Finally, the expert level challenges our users with 40 questions and allows them to master even the slightest structural nuances.
But that’s not all we have prepared for you. You might have already noticed that our entire Quizzes section has received a major makeover. We didn’t just refresh the visuals or texts; we completely redesigned the layout. Navigation is smoother, the interface is cleaner, and our redesign is a whole new way to learn through questions. This update represents a big step forward in how exactly you engage with our quizzes - now there is more structure, more flexibility, and more fun.
