The nerve to coccygeus muscle arises from the anterior divisions of the ventral rami of the fourth and fifth sacral nerves (S4 - S5). This nerve often receives contributions from the ventral ramus of the coccygeal nerve (Co). It supplies the coccygeus muscle.
