Deep circumflex iliac vein

The deep circumflex iliac vein is one of the major tributaries of the external iliac vein (Read more!), joining it slightly above the inguinal ligament (approximately 0.8 inches or 2 centimeters) on the lateral side of the vein. Each deep circumflex iliac vein is formed by the union of the venae comitantes (accompanying veins) of the deep circumflex iliac artery
