Anatomy.app Content News in August

August might be the last full month of summer (at least that’s what the calendar says), but we’re not slowing down here at Anatomy.app - if anything, we’ve turned up the heat even more. While the days are getting shorter and darker, our list of fresh content is only getting longer and brighter.
This month, we’ve released updates that will keep you and your learning spirit busy. We have added a brand-new 3D article, polished 3D models that shine brighter than the August sun, fresh illustrations so sharp you might feel them, and quizzes to keep your neurons in top training shape.
Whether you’re making the most of the final beach days, gearing up for a new semester, or just chasing that “always learning” feeling, we’ve got something here to spark your interest. Sit down (or lie down), grab a drink and let us introduce you to what August has brought to the table - because this content drop is anything but a summer slowdown.😎
1. 3D Anatomy: New 3D Article
This month brings a completely new addition to our 3D Anatomy section - we have just released a 3D Arteries of the female pelvis article. It features 18 slides, each mapping out a specific major artery of the pelvis or its branches.
This article shows exactly how blood is delivered to one of the most complex regions of the body. And at this moment, we want to remind you that last month, we released a similar 3D article on the arteries of the male pelvis. So, now you can compare both sexes and see the differences.
This new content with extensive descriptions guides you through the internal and external iliac arteries and their key branches. Each textual description is accompanied by a precise 3D visual that makes it easy to understand the complex pathways and relationships. We promise that this resource will give you a clear and complete understanding of the blood supply of the female pelvis.

2. 3D Anatomy: Updated 3D Models
Some of our 3D models have received a well-deserved refresh, making them more visually appealing, more precise and more accurate. These updates focus on two muscle groups that are both essential and fascinating.
First up is the 3D Posterior abdominal wall muscles article. It is covered in 5 slides, and each slide now features refined models and details that highlight the shapes and positions of these muscles. These deep-seated muscles play a vital role in posture, core stability, and movement, and the improved visuals make it easier to understand how they work together.
Next up is the 3D Thoracic wall muscles article. As you might have guessed, all 12 slides of this article also received a fresh polish. In the article, you’ll notice not only clearer 3D materials but also better differentiation, which makes it simpler to visualize how these muscles protect the thoracic organs, assist in breathing, and connect with surrounding structures.

3. Media Library: New Illustrations
Our Media Library has also grown with a fresh batch of detailed illustrations, each designed to bring anatomy into sharper focus. This month’s additions span multiple regions and systems, giving you a well-rounded boost to your study materials. You can now find new visuals on the veins of the male pelvis and the veins of the female pelvis, perfect for comparing and understanding venous drainage in both sexes.

We’ve also added illustrations of the diaphragm, testicles, adrenal glands, colon, and endocrine glands. Each visual highlights a particular anatomical structure with clarity and precision. Whether you’re exploring the pathways of the venous system or studying the body’s hormonal powerhouses, these new additions are ready to help you see the details that matter most.

4. Quizzes: New Quizzes
We also want to announce the arrival of two brand-new quizzes. Each is offered in four difficulty levels to match your learning pace. Test your knowledge on the Arteries of the female pelvis and Arteries of the male pelvis with questions that challenge you from base level all the way up to expert.

The base level quizzes start with 12 questions for female arteries and 11 for male arteries, which is perfect enough for getting your feet wet. Intermediate levels step it up with 19 questions for females and 20 for males. But when you’re ready for a real challenge, go to the advanced quizzes that pack 62 questions for females and 60 for males. Finally, expert level pushes your mastery with 62 questions on the female and 49 on the male arterial system.
These quizzes offer various question types, including fill-in-the-blank, sentence completion, multiple-choice, and image recognition questions. These mix-ups allow you to practice anatomy in diverse and effective ways. Try the new quizzes now and see how well you really know the vascular pathways of the pelvis.

Final Note
Wow, what a way to kick off August! In July, we focused on adding layers - layers of detail, layers of clarity, and layers of challenge. And in August, you can finally enjoy the results. When it comes to anatomy, the more angles you see, the clearer the picture becomes.
Whether it’s a 3D artery traveling through the pelvis or a refined muscle, we hope these updates bring you the clarity you need. Learning anatomy is a journey with its ups and downs, and we’re truly grateful that you have chosen to take this walk side by side with us. So enjoy the process and remember - every small step adds up.
Keep exploring,
