The interosseous membrane of the forearm is a thin, broad, fibrous sheet that connects the radius and ulna along their interosseous crests, filling the interosseous space between both forearm bones. This joint type is known as a syndesmosis. It divides the forearm into anterior and posterior compartments and provides attachment sites for various forearm muscles.
