The calcaneocuboid joint is formed between two bones of the foot - calcaneus and cuboid bone. The joint has a articular capsule and several ligaments that strengthen it:

Bifurcate ligament - a strong fibrous band that extends from the calcaneus (more precisely, the tuber calcanei), then divides anteriorly in a Y-shaped manner into a calcaneonavicular ligament, which is fixed to the navicular bone, and a calcaneocuboid ligament, which is attached to the cuboid bone. The ligament also attaches to the cuboid bone and to the bases of the metatarsal bones.
Plantar calcaneocuboid ligament - a short and wide band that extends from the calcaneus, then in front of the plantar surface of the calcaneus and attaches to the plantar surface of the cuboid bone.
Long plantar ligament - extends between the calcaneus and the plantar surface of the 2nd to 5th metatarsal bones.
Dorsal calcaneocuboid ligament - attaches to the calcaneus, located lateral to the bifurcate ligament, and extends to the dorsolateral side of the cuboid bone.
