Posterior cranial fossa (walls)

The walls of the posterior cranial fossa are formed by the following structures: posterior surface of the body of the sphenoid, all parts (basilar, lateral, and squamous) of the occipital bone, posterior surfaces of the petrous parts of the temporal bones, and mastoid parts of the temporal bones.
