Content of submental neck triangle

The submental triangle contains the following structures: mylohyoid nerve (branch of the inferior alveolar nerve, which arises from the mandibular nerve (CN V3)), submental artery (branch of the facial artery), submental vein (tributary to the facial vein), anterior jugular vein and its tributaries and submental lymph nodes.
