Arteries of male pelvis (overview)

The arterial blood supply of the male pelvis is primarily derived from the common iliac arteries, which arise from the bifurcation of the abdominal aorta at the level of the fourth lumbar vertebra (L4) and further divide into the internal iliac arteries and external iliac arteries at the level of the sacroiliac joints.
