Three common palmar digital arteries are blood vessels in the hand that arise from the superficial palmar arch. They continue downward on the lumbrical muscles. At the base of the proximal phalanges, the common palmar digital arteries divide, forming proper palmar digital arteries. They travel along sides of the phalanges of digits II, III, IV and V.
