Middle cranial fossa (walls)

The walls of the middle cranial fossa are formed by the following structures: superior and lateral surfaces of the body of the sphenoid, cerebral surfaces of the greater wings of the sphenoid, cerebral surfaces of the squamous parts of the temporal bones, and anterior surfaces of the petrous parts of the temporal bones.
